There is no official information from the Tecno website about the device but the Jumia Nigeria website confirms the specifications of the device. First and foremost, the DroiPad 8 is the first Tecno device running Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Tecno DroiPad 8 Specifications
The Tecno DroiPad 8 has an 8′ IPS display, 8.7mm thin with a 1.3GHz Quad Core MT8382M processor. It also has 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM (Expandable). The DroiPad features a 5MP back and a 2MP front camera. It has a shocking 5100 mAh battery that we would definitely like to take for a test drive. The DroiPad is 3G device with a single SIM (unlike most of the Tecno devices we know) and comes in multiple colors (We cannot confirm how many). We have seen the black, silver and white version only.
Tecno DroiPad 8 Price and Availability
The device is not yet available in Uganda but the Tecno DroiPad 8 is going for a price of N 30,000 Naira in Nigeria (About $150 or Ugx 465,000) exclusively on Jumia. We shall keep our ears on the ground to let you know as and when it arrives n Uganda.
