While several competing companies such as Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, Taotronics, and Anker has fairly straightforward product naming conventions, Xiaomi terribly falls short in this regard. The company is guilty of confusing product names in most cases branding the same product differently in various markets. While this strategy might help Xiaomi’s lawyers from lawsuits, it doesn’t help its customers. What does this rant have to do with the Flipbuds Pro? Well, don’t be surprised if they are called a different name in your location. Alright, now let us talk about the Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro. They are, by far the companies most premium wireless earphones. The Flipbuds Pro has slightly better specs than the Mi Air 2 Pro which, until last year, were the companies flagship TWS earbuds. The Mi Air 2 Pro spot Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) as well as Wireless Charging for about $120. The Flipbuds Pro take direct aim at Apple’s Airpods with a similar stem-like design and charging case. They have a glossy all-black body thanks to a nano NCVM coating. Put together, you’ll have a hard time telling them apart.
